Publishes high-quality research on Indonesia’s role, agency, and relevance in regional and global affairs. The journal welcomes theoretical and empirical contributions from across the social sciences and humanities—including international relations, political science, development studies, cultural studies, and related fields—as long as Indonesia remains the central analytical focus. Core themes cover Indonesia’s bilateral and multilateral engagements, its position within regional and global political dynamics, and the application of international relations, politics, and social theory to Indonesian foreign policy, domestic politics, and societal transformations. JIGP aims to deepen scholarly understanding and support evidence-based discussions on Indonesia’s evolving presence in world politics.
